Gas safety record: every 12 months
The gas safety check is annual. Give existing tenants a copy of the record within 28 days of the check and give new tenants a copy before they move in. Keep the records for at least two years.
The HSE says you can have the check done up to 2 months early and keep the original deadline date, as long as you keep the records until two further checks have been carried out.
